Pixo SE has been developed from ground up. While it has inherited a lot of features from its older brother Pixo, it offers some new features which will be described in this page.
Interface
One of the most noticeable feature that will be apparent is the interface. It is less cluttered and the buttons are bigger. To import, save or do most of the normal functions, there is button which will invoke a menu. We have designed it this way to keep the program more or less clutter free.
New Features
Sometimes less is more. We have gone through all the feed backs and noticed some of the features that we have implemented in Pixo are either not used or appeared to be to confusing for the users. So with Pixo SE we have decided
to focus on the core features, the ones that make Pixo what it is and omitted some of the less used features.
Pixo is still available if you wish to purchase it and this version is not a replacement for it but an addition.
Without further ado let us take you through the features in depth.
If you import an image that is rather dark or needs a bit
of colour, then you can use the built-in Image Enhancer
which optimises the image in terms of brightness and
colour without the need for 3rd party software.
Take a look at the video on the right which demonstrates
this feature.
While the brush tool is great for applying the effects to
any part of the image, sometimes you need to apply the
effect to the whole image in minimum time, This is where
the fill tool comes very handy.
Have a look at the video on the right and see the fill tool
in action.
Another new feature in Pixo SE is the Crop Tool which
is very handy if you scan or capture an image and wish
to remove any unwanted part of the image without the
need to leave the application and use any additional
software tools.
The short video on the right, demonstrates this feature.
In designing Pixo SE we have tried to produce a what
we call a "Hybrid" application. This means it is still a
Windows application but when loaded on a touch-screen
PC or a tablet, it behaves like an app taking advantage
of the touch capabilities or the webcam. Pixo SE even
lets you save images in a gallery folder with sequential
names thus removing the step of calling the save dialogue
box and naming the file to save.

features.
Due to popular demand we have added a new feature
so the images can sent to FaceBook with minimum fuss.
To achieve this, we use a little program called "FaceBook
Image Uploader". This means you apply the effects to
your images and when ready, click on the option from the
menu and the image is uploaded straight away.
(A valid FaceBook account + Internet connection is required)
The video on the right, demonstrates this feature.
We have added some new striking effects as well as keeping some of the classic effects. Take a look at some of these
effects. Simply drage the slider to see the before & after effect.
